It is with great sadness we share the difficult news that yesterday we lost a man with tremendous vision and dedication – Paul Reynolds, the CEO of Canaccord Genuity.
It is with great sadness we share the difficult news that yesterday we lost a man with tremendous vision and dedication – Paul Reynolds, the CEO of Canaccord Genuity. We had the privilege of knowing Paul both as a colleague but more importantly as a friend for the past 18 years. We truly enjoyed our time spent with him sharing in his relentless energy and the commitment he brought to all of his personal and professional endeavours. Canaccord Genuity has lost an exceptional leader and we have all lost a dear friend.
As we end the week and head into the Easter long weekend, we thought rather than our usual commentary about global markets or economic data points, we would simply say Happy Easter. Spend this long weekend with friends and family, because that is why we all do what we do. Below is a list of activities to enjoy this weekend:
Great A-Mazing Egg Hunt at VanDusen Botanical Garden on April 4th and 5th, 2015
Bring your family to our 7th annual Easter egg hunt
Hunt for eggs in the garden with special areas for children ages 2 to 4, 5 to 8, and 9 to 12 years. Interact with animals at the Cinema Zoo exhibit, decorate a clay pot, and plant carrots to take home. Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy chocolate treats, and much more! The event runs rain or shine.
For those readers looking for a family event in the Richmond / Steveston area, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery is also having a family Easter event that runs from Friday to Sunday, April 3, 4 & 5 with an Easter Salmon hunt, crafts, games and activities for the little ones to enjoy.
And for those on the North Shore, Easter at Maplewood Farm is always fun.
Lambs, goats, chicks and bunnies are born this time of year at Maplewood Farm. The annual Easter event takes place on Sunday, April 5th from 10am to 12pm. Arrive early for the Easter Egg hunt which starts at 10am! Stay for a fun day with face painting, crafts and pony rides.
